Acne Tips : Lifestyle Many people ask us "What does my lifestyle have to do with my acne problem?" The answer is: a lot. We have broken down lifestyle into three main categories and just listed some of the common things that you can do to help your acne.
Detergents 1. Use Body, Face and Laundry cleansers and detergents that are mild, scent free and hypoallergenic 2. Wash or change your pillow case twice per week and your sheets at least once per week. 3. Do not use facial cleansers with soap or any lauryl/laureth sulfates (check the ingredient listings on your products in order determine if they contain any of these substances) Stress TIP: Breathe deeply at least 3 times per day. Most people only use a small portion of their lungs when they breathe. Breathing is one of our body's primary ways to eliminate waste. 3 times per day, when you are feeling stressed, take 10 deep breaths, in through your nose and out through your mouth. Your stomach should expand with every in breath, not your chest. When doing this, it is best to close your eyes and focus on nothing but your breathing. Exercise 1.
Exercise at least 2 times per week for 30-60 minutes. This should include
cardiovascular and resistance Note: Wash your face (and body) within 30 minutes of finishing your workout to minimize the chance the bacteria buildup. |
